West Main Bridal & Couture is a stylish bridal salon offering friendly service and a caring, personal experience for the bride. We go out of our way to find the gown and accessories to fulfill each bride's dream. We believe the whole process leading up to the wedding should be lots of fun, and as stress-free as possible.  We frequently hear 'can we afford you?'.  Yes - we have gowns at all prices, most are easily affordable - they just look a million dollars! 

Customization of fit and style - Our specialty at West Main Bridal & Couture, is to customize the design and fit of your 'special-order' gown so you get the gown of your dreams with the minimum of alterations.  Whenever possible, we choose to work with designers who will work with us. We train our consultants to be able to interpret individual whims, dreams and wishes to enhance the beauty of the bride.  You may choose to make style changes such as raising necklines, switching skirt styles, adding or removing beadwork or embroidery, making an off‑shoulder neckline, changing the fabrics and countless others.  Fit changes include customizing for non‑standard body measurements, changing length through the body and skirt, adjusting the bust for a larger or smaller cup size, etc.  The majority of our gowns need no alterations from the moment they arrive.

'Off the rack' - West Main Bridal & Couture has a large and exciting selection of gowns and accessories for you to try. Our designers include: Adele Wechsler, CB Couture, Casablanca Bridal, Eugenia Couture, Justin Alexander, Modern Trousseau, Siri, and many more. We also carry a range of private collection gowns produced especially for West Main Bridal to help our brides find their own individual gown. Each item is hand-picked by our designer to meet the bride's requirements of quality, reliability, style and value.  Many of our gowns may be purchased 'off the rack', resulting in you getting your gown more quickly.

Shoes & accessories - We also have a great selection of accessories suitable for the bride and her party. These include an enormous variety of shoe styles, silk, satin, fully dyeable in every color of the rainbow, wonderful bras, and very special veils and tiaras by Laura Jayne Bridal Design and Richard Designs.  Fur and feather stoles add a special touch for brides and bridesmaids.  We carry dresses for mothers of bride (and groom), bridesmaids, flower girls, and we offer gown cleaning and preservation.

Jewelry for the bride & party - Our custom jewelry designer from Dragonfly Jewels specializes in creating beautiful jewelry designs to go with each dress, or you can choose from the in-store selection.  Dragonfly will also work with the bride to create personal bridal party gifts.  We also have some of Richard Designs new pieces, which include Swarovski rhinestones and are a little more flamboyant!  Some of their jewelry and accessory designs are based on the Royal Weddings.

Mothers - We have several collections of beautiful outfits for Mothers of bride and groom.  Some are available 'off the rack', others can be ordered and received anywhere from a couple of weeks to several months later.  In particular, we would like to mention the Sarah Danielle collection, an up to the minute collection of beautiful silk dresses and gowns.  Mothers - please don't leave your outfit until the last minute, this is your day too!  We look forward to helping you find that perfect gown for your place in the wedding.

Bridesmaids - From many years of experience, we have found our designer, "Siri" to be fabulous for bridesmaids (and mothers).  Siri is based in San Francisco.  With the variety of figures you may have in your wedding party, you will find gowns to suit them all.  Should you need a custom pattern, Siri can provide it (they frequently do this for junior bridesmaids).  They also have a maternity selection.  The Bride can usually choose from many different types of silk and hundreds of different colors.  Siri's quality of construction is superb and your girls will have a dress they would expect to wear again. 

Bill Levkoff has become very popular too, with good quality and affordable dresses.  Although they are bridesmaid designs, we frequently have mothers who would like to order one for themselves.

Please note that most bridal sizing does not conform to ready-to-wear sizing, so make the most of our experience when ordering your dresses for minimal alterations costs.

Other occasions: Prom; Graduation; Quinceanera; Ring Figures; Debutante etc - We currently have a good selection of gorgeous but well-priced prom gowns.  So if you're planning on attending prom this year, please pay us a visit.  These beautiful gowns also work well for other formal occasions, concerts and recitals etc.  Many of our clients have found their own special dress from our selection.  Siri have a pretty range of specially designed graduation dresses.  Several of our 'non-brides' have found a white sample sale gown that was perfect for their event.

Tuxedos - We offer an excellent selection of quality wool suits and tuxedos for rent and purchase.  There are innumerable color choices for the vests and ties, shirts in white, off-white, ivory and black, as well as shoes in all complementary colors.  Designers include Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Stephen Geoffrey, Oscar de la Renta, and Mossy Oak.  The package prices are wonderfully affordable, and your wedding party can order from anywhere in the United States.  Don't forget Prom too - we have many up-to-the minute styles, including Zoot Suits and Fedoras!  Last-minute orders can frequently be accommodated.

Individual Couture Creation - At West Main Bridal & Couture we also create individual designs for the couture bride. We will lovingly create your gown especially for you, your style and personality. Every custom gown is “one-of-a-kind”and made to measure for each individual bride by our European-trained, couture designer. We use couture techniques to provide a superior quality and finish. We want every detail to be perfect. Many hours are lovingly and painstakingly spent on each special creation. At West Main Bridal & Couture, you are an integral part of the design of your dress. High quality silks and beautiful finishing are our hallmark.
